Tiered Behavioral Interventions

In order to promote the 7 Keys of College and Career Readiness and foster thriving schools, MCPS will promote programs and initiatives that encourage social, emotional, and academic growth through a tiered behavioral intervention framework. In Tennessee, this framework is known as Response to Instruction & Intervention for Behavior (RTI2-B). Schools have received ongoing training, support, and resource allocation through a partnership with Tennessee Behavior Supports Project.
